A law firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mid-level Intellectual Property Associate Attorney to join their team in Irvine, CA. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional research and writing skills, the ability to work independently, and strong advocacy abilities. This position offers the opportunity to engage in sophisticated intellectual property and patent litigation cases.

 

Job Details:

  • Conduct extensive legal research and analysis on intellectual property and patent issues.
  • Prepare and draft various legal documents, including motions, briefs, and pleadings.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, depositions, and settlement negotiations.
  • Provide strategic guidance and counsel to clients on intellectual property matters.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and team members to develop case strategies.
  • Stay updated on changes in intellectual property law and related regulations.
  • Assist in due diligence activities for intellectual property transactions.
  • Participate in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications.
  • Engage in client development initiatives, including presentations and meetings.

 

Requirements:

  • Admission to the State Bar.
  • 3-7 years of experience in intellectual property and/or patent litigation.
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Superior writing and communication skills.

 

Education:

Bachelor’s or higher degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar.
