Job Overview

A progressive law firm is seeking a Transactional Attorney with a passion for business and real estate transactions to join its remote team. Duties

  • Draft and review transactional documents, such as purchase agreements, closing documents, and operating agreements.
  • Conduct initial client consultations to assess needs and prepare corresponding documentation.
  • Manage and track client matters, ensuring timely and efficient handling.
  • Contribute to expanding the firm’s presence through offline and online marketing efforts.
  • Assist in developing and refining firm processes, procedures, and systems.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in handling transactions, including company formations, business/property sales, and contract drafting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with senior attorneys to support client needs.
  • Active bar membership, with completion of the bar exam.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction (required).
  • Membership with the American Bar Association (ABA).

Skills

  • Proficient in drafting and navigating various transactional documents.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to foster and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Effective in managing multiple projects and adapting to changing priorities.
