Associate Attorney with 2 years of experience

A law firm seeks a licensed associate attorney to join its growing team, with a primary focus on litigation and litigation support. While two years of experience is preferred, candidates with varying levels of experience are encouraged to apply. Duties:

• Assist with and manage litigation cases, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Conduct legal research and provide written analysis to support litigation strategies.
• Attend court appearances, depositions, and mediations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case preparation and trial strategy.
• Provide litigation support across various practice areas while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Stay current with relevant laws, rules, and regulations affecting the litigation process.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in Idaho (required).
• Two years of experience in litigation preferred, but not required.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent research and legal writing skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar license in Idaho.
