Duties:

• Manage assigned legal matters using case management and reporting software
• Represent clients in court and make required court appearances (some travel required)
• Handle consumer credit collections, bankruptcy cases, and foreclosure proceedings
• Ensure compliance with state laws and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)
• Collaborate effectively with other attorneys and legal professionals
• Maintain consistent and proactive communication with clients
• Provide legal counsel and support on creditors' rights matters and regulatory compliance

Requirements:

• Bar License (required)
• Multi-state licensure is strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of consumer credit collections, FDCPA, and relevant state laws
• Strong commitment to client service and timely communication

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active membership in good standing with the Alabama Bar

Certifications:

• Bar License (required)
