Duties

• Lead and manage state and federal cases, as well as arbitration proceedings.
• Prepare motions, conduct discovery work, and represent clients in hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Collaborate with junior attorneys and staff for efficient delegation and case execution.
• Build and maintain client relationships through regular communication and case updates.
• Prepare cases meticulously for mediation, trial, and arbitration outcomes.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with opposing counsel and court officials.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of civil litigation experience.
• Demonstrated excellence in legal writing and motion drafting.
• Strong analytical skills, focusing on identifying legal issues and strategic planning.
• Familiarity with state and federal legal research tools, case management software (Clio preferred), and e-discovery platforms.
• Experience in appellate, insurance defense, and motion practices preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active and good-standing membership with the Texas State Bar.
