Duties

• Represent clients in criminal defense and post-conviction cases
• Travel to courts throughout Connecticut and meet with clients at correctional facilities
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and team members on case strategy and trial preparation
• Participate in court appearances, hearings, and trials
• Manage case files and maintain client communications

Requirements

• Active law license to practice in the State of Connecticut
• Demonstrated interest or experience in criminal law and litigation
• Willingness to travel statewide to various courts and correctional facilities
• Ability to work both independently and under the supervision of senior attorneys

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in Connecticut (required)

Certifications

• Connecticut State Bar admission (required)
