Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle court appearances and argue motions before state and federal courts.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on insurance-related issues.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior associates on complex litigation cases.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple deadlines and tasks effectively.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida State Bar; additional state admissions a plus.
  • 2-6 years of experience in insurance litigation, preferably focusing on property and casualty insurance.
  • Strong understanding of insurance coverage issues; experience in bad faith insurance matters is desirable.
  • Excellent academic credentials, including strong writing and analytical skills.
  • Previous federal clerkship or state appellate clerkship experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
