Duties:

  • Handle a diverse caseload of personal injury matters, including but not limited to motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and medical malpractice.
  • Conduct legal research, draft legal documents such as complaints, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and managing expectations throughout the legal process.
  • Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediation, arbitration, and court proceedings.
  • Collaborate with legal assistants and support staff to ensure efficient case management.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in North Carolina; South Carolina Bar license is a plus.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Prior experience in personal injury law or a related field preferred.

Education & Certifications:

  • Active membership in good standing with the North Carolina State Bar.
