Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Sacramento is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 2-5 years of experience and membership in the California Bar. The ideal candidate will be proficient in drafting complex pleadings, conducting legal research and analysis, and handling discovery in high-stakes actions.

Duties:

• Draft complex pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on various litigation matters.
• Handle discovery processes, including document requests, interrogatories, and depositions.
• Develop case strategies and provide legal advice to clients.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediation, and settlement negotiations.
• Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff on case management and strategy.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
• Ensure diligent representation of clients' interests throughout the litigation process.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• 2-5 years of litigation experience.
• Member in good standing of the California State Bar.
• Proficiency in drafting pleadings and conducting legal research and analysis.
• Ability to handle discovery in high-stakes actions.
