Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Actively utilize the Firm’s case management and reporting software to manage assigned matters.
  • Represent the Firm in court appearances and handle related travel as necessary.
  • Apply a working knowledge of consumer credit collections, state laws regarding consumer collections, and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
  • Maintain a commitment to providing superior client care and proactive communication.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in a team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Manage case documentation, prepare legal briefs, and advise clients.
  • Stay updated on relevant legal developments and state and federal laws changes.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Member in good standing of the Nevada State Bar.
  • Multi-state licensure is strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience in creditor’s rights and consumer credit collections.
  • Working knowledge of consumer credit collections, state laws in the licensed jurisdiction, and the FDCPA.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases effectively and work independently.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Nevada; multi-state licensure is a plus.
  • Member in good standing of the Nevada State Bar.
