Job Overview: A law firm seeks an experienced Alcohol and Distribution Associate Attorney to join their Menlo Park, CA office. This role requires a professional with a strong background in alcohol beverage law, regulatory compliance, and commercial corporate matters. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex projects independently.

Duties:

• Provide legal advice and support on matters related to alcohol beverage law and regulatory compliance.
• Handle commercial corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and provide analysis on various regulatory issues.
• Collaborate with clients to develop strategies for compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Represent clients in regulatory and compliance matters before government agencies.
• Manage and facilitate the completion of complex legal projects.
• Advise clients on risk management and practical solutions to legal issues.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in alcohol beverage law.
• Experience in regulatory areas such as FDA/food is encouraged.
• Background in commercial corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions.
• Admitted to practice law in the state of California.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Member of the California State Bar.
