Duties:

  • Represent clients in family-based, humanitarian, and removal defense immigration cases.
  • Prepare and submit immigration petitions, applications, and related filings to USCIS and other agencies.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding the immigration process.
  • Prepare for and attend immigration court hearings, including conducting legal research, drafting motions, and preparing other documents.
  • Collaborate with clients, government agencies, and legal professionals to resolve cases.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration law and procedural changes.
  • Manage multiple cases while meeting deadlines and maintaining organization.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in any U.S. state.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in immigration law, including family, humanitarian, and removal defense cases.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish (verbal and written).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and legal writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent client communication skills and cultural sensitivity.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in any U.S. state.

Skills:

  • Expertise in immigration law, including family, humanitarian, and removal defense.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Legal research and writing skills.
