Senior Litigation Associate Attorney

Duties

• Manage a diverse caseload, handling all phases of litigation from pre-trial through trial and post-trial proceedings.
• Represent clients in court and at depositions, mediations, and hearings.
• Draft legal pleadings, motions, and discovery requests and responses.
• Advise clients on litigation strategy, risk assessment, and case developments.
• Work closely with senior attorneys and other team members to develop case strategies and ensure case progression.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing timely updates and guidance.
• Handle complex legal research and ensure compliance with all relevant legal standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide comprehensive legal services across multiple areas of law.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of litigation experience.
• License: Must be licensed to practice law in Georgia.
• Client Relationship Management: Proven ability to manage and maintain client relationships effectively.
• Litigation Expertise: Strong knowledge of litigation processes and legal principles.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a focus on clear and persuasive legal argumentation.
• Case Management: Ability to independently manage multiple, complex cases.
• Strategic Thinking: Capacity to think critically and develop creative solutions for complex legal issues.

Education

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the State Bar of Georgia.
