Duties:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate government contracts and related documents.
  • Represent clients in administrative proceedings and litigation before government agencies and courts.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support client matters and firm initiatives.
  • Develop and implement strategies for contract management and compliance.
  • Advise clients on regulatory changes and their implications for government contracts.
  • Assist in preparing legal briefs, opinions, and other documentation.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff on complex matters and projects.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of government contracting laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in government contracts law, including litigation and transactional work.
  • Outstanding writing and analytical skills.
  • Top academic credentials from a reputable law school.
  • Bar admission in the District of Columbia or waiving into the District of Columbia Bar.
  • Strong understanding of federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and related statutes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Bar admission in the District of Columbia or waiving into the District of Columbia Bar.
