A distinguished law firm in New York City is seeking an Associate Attorney with a minimum of 2 years of experience in securitization, structured finance, or transactional law. This position offers an opportunity to join a globally recognized finance group specializing in Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs) and structured credit. The practice supports a wide range of esteemed clients, including top-tier asset managers, equity investors, and leading underwriters in the CLO industry.

Duties:

• Collaborate on complex securitization and structured finance transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate key documentation for CLOs and other structured credit products.
• Advise clients on fund finance, NAV-based facilities, and subscription line credit facilities.
• Provide strategic legal guidance to major asset managers and investment banks.
• Stay current with industry trends, legal developments, and regulatory changes impacting the structured finance sector.

Requirements:

• At least 2+ years of substantial experience in securitization, structured finance, or related transactional law.
• A strong interest in pivoting to the CLO space if prior CLO-specific experience is limited.
• Ability to manage and execute high-stakes transactions efficiently.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice law in the state of New York.
