A well-regarded law firm is seeking a Personal Injury Attorney to manage the entire litigation process, from initial filing through to verdict. This role involves significant responsibilities, including overseeing Commercial Property and Liability (CPL) cases and ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures. Duties

  • Manage the litigation process for personal injury cases, overseeing tasks from initial filing to trial.
  • Screen potential litigation clients and conduct case law research.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
  • Prepare for and participate in mediations and trials.
  • Negotiate settlements and interview/depose witnesses.
  • Provide legal counsel and engage in medical management on behalf of clients.
  • Maintain case records and liaise with insurance companies.
  • Collaborate with supervising attorneys to ensure comprehensive case management.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Member of the Florida Bar (other state bars a plus).
  • Minimum of 3+ years of personal injury experience required.
  • Strong research, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Professionalism with a focus on client service and representation.
  • Ability to evaluate the value of claims and manage multiple cases effectively.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Florida (additional state bars a plus).
