Mid-Level Associate Attorney needed for Portland office

Job Overview: A law firm in Portland, OR, is seeking a Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of experience with complex finance transactions and be licensed and in good standing in Oregon.

Duties:

• Act as a key member of deal teams, overseeing fundamental aspects of transactions from due diligence through closing.
• Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients on sponsor-backed leveraged finance matters.
• Represent borrowers, lenders, and/or agents in various finance transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents, including loan agreements, security documents, and closing certificates.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support client matters.

Requirements:

• 4-7 years of experience with complex finance transactions.
• Substantial experience in sponsor-backed leveraged finance.
• Experience representing borrowers, lenders, and/or agents in various finance transactions.
• Must be licensed and in good standing in Oregon.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Oregon State Bar.
