Duties:

  • Analyze transactions for competition issues and merger control filing requirements, with a focus on compliance with the Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) Act and its implementing Rules.
  • Conduct substantive analysis, address procedural issues, and manage filing logistics related to HSR Act compliance.
  • Advocate before regulatory bodies, including the Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Trade Commission (FTC), in antitrust matters.
  • Provide legal counsel in technology, life sciences, and private equity transactions, with a specific emphasis on antitrust implications.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Relevant Bar admission in California, or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.
  • Proven experience in antitrust law, particularly in analyzing transactions and managing merger control filings.
  • Familiarity with the Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) Act and its procedural requirements.
  • Outstanding academic credentials and comparable law firm experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:
