A prestigious law firm is seeking a skilled and driven Patent Prosecution and Litigation Associate Attorney to join its IP Litigation team in Sunnyvale, CA. Duties:

• Manage patent litigation cases, including briefing, motion practice, depositions, and working with experts
• Handle PTAB or trial proceedings and case management responsibilities
• Supervise and mentor junior associates and paralegals
• Develop and execute litigation strategies for complex patent matters
• Ensure adherence to deadlines, prepare legal filings, and assist with discovery processes
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and experts to prepare for trial
• Provide legal research, analysis, and counsel on various IP-related issues
• Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings, when necessary

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in IP litigation, including case management and motion practice
• Experience in working with experts, depositions, and PTAB or trial proceedings
• Proven ability to run cases independently and supervise junior legal staff
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities
• Must be licensed to practice law in California or have the ability to obtain licensure promptly

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Preferably a background in engineering or a technical field

Certifications:

• Admission to the USPTO (preferred)

Skills:

• Strong intellectual property knowledge, particularly in patent law
• Excellent case management and client relations skills
• Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
