A law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its team in West Palm Beach, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of high-value personal injury cases, including pre-trial preparation, court appearances, motions, depositions, mediations, negotiations, and trial. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation attorney with a strong courtroom presence and proven success in handling personal injury cases.

Location

• West Palm Beach, FL

Duties

• Meet with clients and file lawsuits.

• Propound and respond to written discovery.

• Schedule and attend fact witness depositions.

• Retain appropriate experts and attend all expert depositions.

• Schedule and attend hearings.

• Prepare for and attend mediations.

• Prepare cases for trial and try cases to verdict.

• Prepare and file appropriate post-trial motions.

• Attend file audits, litigation attorney meetings, and trial clinics.

Requirements

• Licensed in good standing to practice law in Florida.

• Proven experience as a Personal Injury Litigator.

• Minimum of 2 jury trials as first chair, with a track record of winning.

• Ability to manage a large caseload from filing through verdict.

• Strong leadership skills to provide direction and guidance to a team of staff.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong negotiation skills.

• Analytical and research skills.

• A confident courtroom presence with eagerness to try cases.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Florida Bar License in good standing.
