Duties:

• Handle first-party property insurance claims, bad faith litigation, and insurance coverage disputes.

• Draft and review pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.

• Conduct depositions, and court appearances, and participate in trials.

• Manage cases from inception to resolution in both state and federal courts.

• Collaborate with team members and clients on case strategies and legal advice.

• Provide excellent research and writing support for complex legal issues.

• Engage in business development and maintain client relationships.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in first-party property, bad faith, or insurance coverage litigation.

• Practical case management experience in both state and federal courts.

• Proficiency in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery.

• Experience in taking and defending depositions, making court appearances, and handling trials.

• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Must be admitted to the Florida Bar and in good standing. Additional state bar admissions are a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Florida Bar is required. Additional Bar admissions are preferred.

Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and meet deadlines.

• Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal matters.

• Proficiency with legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
