Job Overview:
A law firm in Naples, FL, is seeking a Corporate Debt Finance Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will negotiate, structure, and document debt finance transactions. Experience representing private equity sponsors, their portfolio companies or lenders providing financing to such entities in leveraged buyouts and other acquisition financing transactions is preferred. Exceptional writing and analytical skills and Am Law 100 law firm experience are necessary.

Duties:

  • Negotiate, structure, and document debt finance transactions.
  • Represent private equity sponsors or their portfolio companies or lenders providing financing in leveraged buyouts and acquisition financing transactions.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts and agreements.
  • Provide legal advice and support to clients.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in corporate debt finance.
  • Familiarity with negotiating, structuring, and documenting debt finance transactions.
  • Experience representing private equity sponsors or lenders in leveraged buyouts and acquisition financing transactions is preferred.
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills.
  • Prior experience at an Am Law 100 law firm.
  • Must have a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school (classes 2019, 2020, or 2021).
  • Florida Bar admission.

Education:

  • Must have a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school (law school classes 2019, 2020, or 2021).
