Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in bankruptcy and foreclosure defense proceedings.
• Draft, review, and file petitions, motions, schedules, and other legal documents.
• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare detailed case summaries for senior attorneys.
• Attend court hearings, client meetings, mediations, and other required legal proceedings.
• Maintain organized case files and manage documentation related to ongoing cases.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, trustees, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth progress of cases.
• Provide legal support on a wide array of issues related to bankruptcy, foreclosure, creditor claims, debt discharge, and asset protection.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Ohio.
• 0-5 years of experience (previous experience or internships in bankruptcy law preferred).
• Strong research, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases at once.
• A strong desire to assist clients through challenging financial situations and navigate complex legal matters.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Ohio.
