Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of consumer and commercial debt collection cases.
• Prepare for and execute court calls effectively.
• Handle motions, contested hearings, arbitrations, and trials.
• Draft, review, and approve legal pleadings, including complaints, motions, discovery requests, and post-judgment supplemental proceedings.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop legal strategies and ensure successful outcomes.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active law license in Illinois.
• Licensure in Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio is considered a plus.
• Strong understanding of debt collection laws and procedures.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize effectively.
