Pre-Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
An Associate Pre-Litigation Attorney is seeking to join a growing personal injury firm in North Carolina. The ideal candidate will advocate for clients in auto liability, premises liability, and commercial claims, with a strong focus on client satisfaction.

Location: Charlotte, NC

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee medical assessments conducted by case managers and evaluate case values
• Utilize subject matter experts and negotiate claims effectively
• Mentor case managers and guide overall negotiation strategies
• Collaborate with firm leadership on pre-litigation needs
• Assist with exceptional cases as directed by management

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of personal injury experience
• Active member of the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA)
• Proficient in writing, research, and negotiation
• Strong communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and public speaking skills
• Ability to manage complex caseloads with minimal supervision
• Excellent negotiation skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in North Carolina
