Job Overview: A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Transactional IP and Trademark Attorney to join its growing Intellectual Property & Technology practice. Duties:

  • Develop and implement domestic and international trademark strategies.
  • Conduct trademark clearance searches and filings across the U.S. and globally.
  • Handle trademark prosecution, defense, and enforcement, including support for worldwide matters.
  • Provide trademark and copyright counseling.
  • Manage IP licensing agreements and transactions.
  • Conduct IP due diligence for various business transactions.
  • Assist with copyright prosecution, defense, and enforcement, including compliance with the DMCA.
  • Offer litigation support in IP matters, collaborating with other practice areas such as corporate law, franchising, and international trade.

Requirements:

  • 6-12 years of experience in transactional IP and trademark law.
  • Extensive experience in handling trademark matters, both domestic and international.
  • Proven ability to handle complex IP transactions, including licensing and due diligence.
  • Strong academic credentials and excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to distill complex legal issues and communicate them clearly to clients and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Licensed to practice law in Missouri (or eligible for admission).

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice in Missouri.
