Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A law firm seeks an experienced and motivated Associate Attorney to join its team in Red Bank, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice in New Jersey and have a solid background in civil litigation, zoning, commercial real estate, trusts and estates, chancery litigation, and employment law. Duties:

• Manage and oversee various legal matters, including civil litigation, zoning, commercial real estate, and employment issues.
• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare detailed legal memoranda and written reports.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts, legal documents, and filings for clients.
• Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and professionally.
• Represent clients in negotiations and handle settlement discussions.
• Collaborate with colleagues and senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide excellent client service.
• Stay informed on legal developments and changes in relevant laws to provide up-to-date legal advice.
• Participate in court appearances and depositions as necessary.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in New Jersey (NJ State Bar membership).
• Prior experience in legal research and writing.
• Familiarity with Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis for legal research.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation and client management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• New Jersey State Bar membership (required).
