Job Title: Antitrust Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in New York City is seeking an Antitrust Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of firm or government agency experience to assume significant responsibilities in civil antitrust litigation and investigations, as well as mergers and other antitrust agency investigations. Experience in the tech and life sciences sector is preferred. Superior academic credentials and strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills are required.

Duties:

  • Conducting legal research on antitrust laws and regulations.
  • Drafting legal documents such as complaints, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
  • Assisting with the preparation and organization of evidence for trials and hearings.
  • Analyzing complex legal issues and providing strategic advice to clients.
  • Collaborating with partners, associates, and clients on case strategy and litigation tactics.
  • Representing clients in negotiations, mediation, and settlement conferences.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York State Bar.
  • 2-4 years of experience in civil antitrust litigation and investigations.
  • Experience in the tech and life sciences sector preferred.
  • Strong understanding of antitrust laws, regulations, and legal principles.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Education:
