Job Title: Senior Litigation Attorney

Job Overview: A well-established law firm in Houston, TX is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Litigation Attorney to join their personal injury team. This role requires comprehensive experience in personal injury litigation, with the ability to independently manage a caseload from start to finish while providing exceptional legal services to clients.

Duties:

• Manage a diverse caseload of personal injury cases, including auto and trucking accidents, slip and fall incidents, and related matters
• Conduct and oversee all phases of litigation, including drafting and filing lawsuits, discovery processes, depositions, and mediations
• Develop case strategies, prepare legal documents, and present cases in court as necessary
• Work collaboratively with a team of attorneys and legal staff, ensuring efficient handling of cases and client interactions
• Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients, maintaining open and effective communication
• Participate in trial preparations and act as either first or second chair during trials
• Maintain high organizational standards to meet multiple deadlines effectively

Requirements:

• Extensive experience handling all stages of personal injury cases from initial intake to trial and settlement
• Ability to work independently and manage cases with minimal oversight
• Strong analytical, negotiation, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Experience working directly with clients, evaluating cases, and advising on relevant legal issues
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
• Bilingual skills preferred

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Texas (Bar certification required)
