Duties:

• Advise clients on estate planning, wills, trusts, and succession planning.
• Draft and review legal documents related to wills, trusts, tax planning, and business succession.
• Assist clients with Mainecare planning.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and other staff to deliver comprehensive legal services.
• Manage client relationships with attention to detail and excellent communication.
• Develop and grow a personal book of business.

Requirements:

• 3-7 years of experience in Wills, Estates, and Trusts practice.
• Strong client-facing skills, with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proven ability to draft and execute estate planning documents.
• Attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Interest in building a client base and business development.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Maine Bar is required.
• Admission to the New Hampshire Bar preferred (or willingness to obtain).
