Duties

  • Provide legal counsel on energy and infrastructure projects, including renewables and public-private partnerships (PPP).
  • Conduct thorough legal research and draft high-quality memoranda, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Collaborate with attorneys in multiple offices on complex transactional matters.
  • Represent clients in regulatory, transactional, and project finance matters.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations impacting the energy and infrastructure sector.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in a law firm or relevant energy and infrastructure practice.
  • Proven expertise in energy law, project finance, or infrastructure development.
  • Strong analytical, legal research, and writing skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively under deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Strong academic performance with demonstrated excellence.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the DC Bar or eligibility to waive in.
