Job Overview: A prestigious law firm, located in Carlsbad, CA, is seeking an experienced Corporate and Real Estate Attorney to join its dynamic team. The firm has been serving clients for several decades, specializing in corporate and litigation counsel for homeowners associations (HOAs), community associations, and condominium developments. The firm provides legal services across a wide range of clients, from large residential communities to commercial developments, and is looking for an energetic and skilled attorney to help meet the growing demand in this rapidly expanding area.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel to homeowners associations (HOAs), community associations, and condominiums in matters involving corporate and real estate law.
• Manage a varied caseload with an emphasis on litigation and transactional work.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and governance documents.
• Represent clients in court, hearings, and other legal proceedings, ensuring adherence to legal procedures.
• Advise clients on compliance with local, state, and federal laws regarding HOA governance and operations.
• Maintain strong client relationships and offer proactive legal advice to support business operations and growth.

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in corporate or real estate law, with an emphasis on litigation.
• Proven ability to handle complex legal issues and effectively manage client expectations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Admitted to the California Bar and in good standing.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the California Bar.

Skills:

• Strong legal writing and research abilities.
• Excellent negotiation and client management skills.
• Familiarity with HOA-related laws and real estate litigation.
