Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of litigation from inception to resolution, including drafting pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, and deposition notices.
  • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on complex legal issues related to product liability cases.
  • Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial testimony.
  • Analyze medical records, expert reports, and other discovery materials.
  • Collaborate with partners, clients, and experts to develop case strategies and trial preparation.
  • Attend court hearings and trials as necessary.
  • Maintain organized case files and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Wisconsin Bar (or eligibility for admission by motion).
  • 5-9 years of relevant experience in civil litigation, with a focus on product liability and personal injury cases.
  • Proven track record of drafting pleadings, discovery documents, and motions.
  • Strong courtroom and deposition experience.
  • Excellent academic credentials and writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
