  • Advise clients on intellectual property strategies, including licensing and transactional matters.
  • Conduct IP due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.
  • Stay informed about developments in IP law and offer training to clients and team members.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of direct experience in intellectual property law, particularly in trademark and patent prosecution and enforcement.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing both U.S. and international IP portfolios.
  • Strong legal writing and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with a proactive approach to case management.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Virginia State Bar and in good standing.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Virginia State Bar is required.
