Candidates should either be members of the Florida Bar or awaiting 2024 test results and eligible for Bar admission.

Duties:

  • Represent condominium and homeowner associations in various legal matters.
  • Advise association boards on compliance with state and federal statutory requirements.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate contracts related to community association management.
  • Draft, amend, and review covenants, declarations, bylaws, rules, and other governing documents.
  • Assist association clients in resolving disputes through mediation and arbitration.
  • Provide legal counsel on issues such as board governance, elections, and enforcement of association rules.
  • Stay updated on legal developments affecting community associations.
  • Participate in training and mentorship programs under the guidance of board-certified senior attorneys.

Requirements:

  • 0-3 years of experience in legal practice, with a preference for experience related to community associations or real estate law.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Membership in the Florida Bar or eligibility for admission upon receiving 2024 Bar exam results.
