A law firm seeks an experienced Probate and Estate Planning Attorney to join its team in Cary, North Carolina. Duties

  • Provide legal counsel to clients navigating the probate and trust administration process.
  • Guide clients through the necessary steps to settle estates and provide them with peace of mind.

  • Collaborate with a team of paralegals and legal assistants to ensure efficient case management.
  • Deliver educational presentations to clients regarding estate planning tools and strategies.
  • Help clients understand their estate plans, making complex topics accessible and actionable.
  • Continuously work with colleagues to improve client service, communication, and efficiency.
  • Ensure that clients' wishes are accurately reflected in their estate plans.

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
  • Minimum of several years' experience in estate planning and probate law.
  • Strong understanding of the probate process, trust administration, and estate planning.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients in an understandable way.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team while managing a caseload independently.
  • Positive, client-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid environment with some in-office presence in Cary, NC.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in North Carolina (required).
