Corporate M&A and Private Equity Associate

A law firm seeks a highly skilled Corporate M&A and Private Equity Associate to join its legal team in Dallas, TX. This role is ideal for an attorney with significant experience in transactional law, particularly in mergers, acquisitions, and private equity deals. Duties:

• Draft, negotiate, and review legal documents related to mergers, acquisitions, and private equity transactions.
• Lead due diligence efforts, identifying potential legal risks and ensuring adherence to relevant regulations.
• Advise clients on structuring deals and navigating corporate governance requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve client objectives and implement effective legal strategies.
• Monitor transaction timelines to ensure efficient and timely deal execution.
• Maintain knowledge of legal and regulatory developments impacting transactional law.

Requirements:

• 3 to 7 years of experience in corporate transactions, focusing on M&A and private equity.
• Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage complex legal projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated experience in working collaboratively within a team and with clients.

Education:

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Texas or eligibility for prompt admission to the Texas Bar.
