Duties:

• Advise clients on their legal rights and draw up relevant legal documents about their case.
• Attend pretrial hearings, representing clients and providing post-hearing advice on optimal legal strategies.
• Manage court appearances and trials, draft motions, interview witnesses, and conduct legal research.
• Analyze potential case outcomes based on legal precedents and current laws.
• Effectively manage a diverse workload of criminal cases.
• Provide thorough legal analysis to clients, assessing potential case benefits and risks.
• Gather additional evidence to strengthen client cases or challenge prosecution charges.
• Prepare clients for depositions and strategize essential case goals.
• Collaborate with associates to develop comprehensive legal strategies.

Requirements:

• 4-5 years of experience in Criminal Defense.
• Proven track record in handling complex criminal cases at federal, state, and local levels.
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate and strategize with colleagues.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Texas State Bar or eligibility for reciprocity.
