Duties:

• Provide legal advice to clients, outlining their rights and responsibilities in criminal matters.
• Draft legal documents pertinent to client cases, including motions and petitions.
• Represent clients at pretrial hearings, court appearances, and trials, offering strategic guidance post-hearing.
• Handle case management, including drafting legal motions, conducting legal research, and preparing for trial.
• Assess and analyze potential case outcomes based on relevant legal precedents.
• Manage a caseload of criminal defense cases, ensuring timely updates and communications with clients.
• Collect and present evidence to bolster client defenses or counteract prosecution claims.
• Guide clients through deposition processes, creating a strategy and gathering relevant witness and expert testimony.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4-5 years of criminal defense experience, including federal, state, and local cases.
• Proven ability to handle complex criminal matters with a strong understanding of defense strategies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and provide strategic input to improve case outcomes.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice law in the state of California.

Skills:
