Location:

• Philadelphia, PA

Duties:

• Prepare and prosecute patent applications in electrical engineering, software, computer science, and related fields
• Draft patent claims, specifications, and supporting documentation
• Work closely with clients to understand their inventions and develop strategic patent approaches
• Provide counsel on patentability, patent portfolio management, and intellectual property strategy
• Represent clients before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)
• Collaborate in a team-oriented, client-focused environment

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution
• Strong technical background in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or a related field
• Experience drafting and prosecuting patents related to AI and machine learning is preferred
• Admission to practice before the USPTO required
• Ability to work in a collaborative and client-focused environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field

Certifications:

• Admission to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)
