Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney

A law firm seeks a highly skilled and motivated Insurance Defense Attorney to join their team remotely. The ideal candidate will have a background in managing insurance defense cases, particularly those involving bodily injury defense, construction defect litigation, and employment law. Duties

• Manage and litigate insurance defense cases independently while collaborating with the legal team.
• Develop and execute legal strategies for clients in bodily injury defense, construction defect cases, and employment law matters.
• Provide exceptional client service by crafting personalized legal solutions for each case.
• Engage in creative problem-solving to address the specific needs and challenges of a diverse client base.
• Represent clients in court, mediation, and negotiations, ensuring effective advocacy at all stages of litigation.
• Maintain case files, manage deadlines, and ensure compliance with legal procedures.
• Support business development efforts, including networking and client relationship management.

Requirements

• Active membership in the California State Bar (additional state licensure is a plus).
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Proven experience in insurance defense, with a focus on bodily injury defense, construction defects, or employment law.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a legal team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent legal research, negotiation, and litigation skills.
• Ability to develop creative legal strategies and solutions.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications
