Job Overview:
A top-tier law firm is seeking a Senior Associate Attorney with a minimum of 4 years of experience in project development and/or project finance. Location:

Duties:

  • Lead and manage project finance transactions, including financing and development of large infrastructure and energy projects.
  • Structure, negotiate, and draft financing arrangements and transaction documents.
  • Work closely with clients to provide strategic legal advice on project development matters.
  • Supervise and mentor junior associates and support staff.
  • Assist in structuring and negotiating complex financing agreements for major projects.
  • Conduct due diligence, manage transaction documents, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and external partners.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in project development and/or project finance.
  • Strong background in finance transactions related to infrastructure, energy, or similar industries.
  • Previous experience at a large national or international firm is preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage complex projects and deliver high-quality results.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and draft detailed legal documents.
  • Licensed to practice law in the relevant state or jurisdiction.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state where the associate will be located.

Skills:

  • Expertise in project finance law, including experience with infrastructure, energy, or related industries.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and client management skills.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with experience mentoring junior associates.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Client-focused with an ability to build long-term relationships.
