A law firm seeks a motivated Associate Attorney to join its Florida office and assist with a variety of creditors' rights cases. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity for a new graduate or attorney with up to 3 years of experience to work in a dynamic, high-volume practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal analysis, communication skills, and a dedication to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. Duties

  • Assist with managing litigation cases within the firm’s Florida practice.
  • Handle hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings in Florida courts.
  • Develop and implement strategies to effectively resolve cases.
  • Review all documents and financials to ensure they meet the necessary conditions before initiating legal actions.
  • Draft and revise pleadings, motions, and correspondence for legal filings.
  • Keep internal systems updated with case developments, documents, and recommendations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of case management.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal laws, particularly in areas of foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections.
  • Manage contested matters, including discovery and trial preparation.

Requirements

  • Up to 3 years of legal experience, preferably in collections but not required.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while managing a high caseload.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the Florida Bar (required).

Skills
