Associate Attorney needed for Orem office

A law firm seeking an Associate Attorney in Orem, UT. The Associate Attorney will focus on collection and litigation matters, handling breach of contract and collection litigation matters from demand through judgment. They will represent clients in court hearings, prepare and argue Motions for Summary Judgment, manage a high-volume caseload efficiently, and ensure client satisfaction.

Duties:

• Handle breach of contract and collection litigation matters from demand through judgment.
• Attend court hearings (both telephonic and in person).
• Prepare and argue Motions for Summary Judgment.
• Manage assigned case load to meet goals and client expectations.
• Address escalated and time-sensitive matters as required.
• Undertake other duties and special projects as necessary.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in one or more of the following jurisdictions: California, Arizona, Florida, Nevada, Texas, and/or Utah.
• Experience with the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (“FDCPA”) and Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code (“UCC”) is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in software tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong research skills, utilizing both legal and non-legal sources.
• Exceptional problem-solving and organizational abilities.
