Employment Litigation Associate Hybrid

Job Overview: A prominent law firm in Orange County, California, is seeking a highly experienced Employment Litigation Associate. This role focuses on defending employers in a variety of employment-related lawsuits, offering legal counsel, and managing cases through arbitration, mediation, and court proceedings. Duties:

• Defend and litigate a wide array of employment-related claims, including agency charges and lawsuits
• Provide legal advice, counsel, and training on employment and labor law issues to clients
• Represent employers in court, arbitration, and before administrative agencies
• Handle mediations and negotiations in employment matters such as discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, and non-compete cases
• Manage class action and collective action cases (Class Action/PAGA experience preferred but not required)

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials
• A minimum of 7 years of experience, with a preference for an employment law background
• Active California Bar admission in good standing
• In-depth knowledge of state and federal agency procedures
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of work
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
• Professional demeanor with a focus on teamwork and collaboration

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in the California State Bar
