Job Overview: A prestigious law firm in Boston is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Attorney to handle complex personal injury cases. The ideal candidate will manage all phases of litigation in state and federal courts, including high-stakes trials, client management, and case strategy. Duties:

  • Lead litigation for high-value personal injury cases from start to finish.
  • Conduct client meetings and manage case filings.
  • Handle written discovery and responses.
  • Attend fact witness and expert depositions.
  • Retain and consult with expert witnesses.
  • Represent clients in court appearances, motions, and hearings.
  • Negotiate settlements and attend mediations.
  • Prepare cases for trial and act as lead attorney during trials.
  • File post-trial motions and attend file audits.
  • Participate in litigation attorney meetings and trial clinics.

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts, in good standing.
  • Proven experience in personal injury litigation.
  • Minimum of two first-chair jury trials, with a track record of success.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently from filing to verdict.
  • Strong leadership skills to guide and manage legal teams.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in Massachusetts.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in Massachusetts.
  • Board certification or specialized certification in personal injury law (preferred but not required).

Skills:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation abilities with proven results.
  • Effective analytical and legal research capabilities.
  • A commanding courtroom presence with eagerness to litigate.
  • Ability to handle cases under pressure and meet deadlines.
