A law firm in Las Vegas, NV, seeks a Real Estate Associate Attorney who is team-oriented and possesses strong written and oral communication skills. The ideal candidate must have an excellent academic record and a minimum of 3 years of experience in top tier law firms, focusing on commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions, sales, development, leasing, title matters, land use, rights of way, construction contracts, and loan documents.

Duties:

  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on real estate matters.
  • Draft and negotiate various commercial real estate agreements such as purchase agreements, leases, development agreements, and financing documents.
  • Provide legal advice on title issues, land use regulations, and rights of way.
  • Review and analyze construction contracts and loan agreements.
  • Assist in due diligence processes and transaction closings.
  • Handle real estate litigation matters as needed.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Nevada or ability to waive in promptly.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions at a reputable law firm.
  • Excellent academic credentials.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • Certification in Real Estate Law (e.g., ABA accreditation).

Skills:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively within a legal team and with clients.
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in legal research tools and MS Office Suite.
