A law firm in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a skilled Creditor's Rights Attorney who is well-versed in consumer credit collections, knowledgeable about Arizona state laws regarding consumer collections, and familiar with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). The ideal candidate will be proactive in client communication, adept at managing cases using firm resources, and willing to undertake court appearances and occasional travel.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in creditor's rights cases, including court appearances, hearings, and trials.
  • Utilize the firm’s case management and reporting software to efficiently manage and track assigned matters.
  • Travel as needed to attend court hearings, client meetings, and other case-related activities.
  • Apply comprehensive knowledge of consumer credit collections and Arizona state laws to develop effective case strategies.
  • Maintain superior client care by providing regular updates on case progress and legal developments.
  • Draft and review legal documents, such as complaints, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Negotiate settlements and agreements with debtors and opposing parties to achieve favorable outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Arizona in good standing.
  • Must have experience in creditor’s rights, consumer credit collections, or related litigation.
  • Profound understanding of Arizona state laws pertaining to consumer collections and the FDCPA.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Preferred multi-state licensure to handle cases across different jurisdictions.
