Entry-level Associate Attorney

A law firm in Tampa is seeking an Entry-level Associate Attorney to represent clients in collection and impound cases. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a large caseload effectively.

Duties:

• Represent clients in collection and impound cases.
• Prepare legal documents, including complaints, motions, and pleadings.
• Draft correspondence to opposing counsel.
• Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and Court personnel.
• Conduct settlement negotiations.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree.
• Member in good standing of the Florida Bar.
• Experience in taking depositions and attending hearings preferred but not required.
• Experience with trials, including small claims, preferred but not required.
• Ability to manage and prioritize a large caseload effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional client service orientation.
• Analytical and detail-oriented approach.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida Bar.
