Senior Plaintiff Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Glendale, CA, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Plaintiff Litigation Attorney with substantial experience in Medical Malpractice and/or Elder Abuse Litigation. The ideal candidate will manage a significant caseload independently, handling all phases of litigation from inception through trial.

Job Duties:

• Manage and litigate a diverse caseload of Medical Malpractice and/or Elder Abuse cases.
• Conduct all aspects of litigation including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and attending court hearings.
• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Conduct legal research and formulate legal strategies.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

Requirements:

• JD from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
• 5+ years of experience in Medical Malpractice and/or Elder Abuse Litigation.
• Proven track record of handling complex litigation matters independently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Trial experience is highly preferred.
• Experience in managing junior associates and support staff.
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business and expand client relationships.
